Perm State University (PSU) has the status of a National Research University and is one of the leading universities in Russia.

Students are taught on 12 faculties.

The overall number of students is 12 000, the biggest number of students in the region.

Academic staff is 650 Candidates of Science, 224 Doctors of Science.

At present at PSU there are 48 programmes for Bachelors’ training, and 26 programmes for training Master students.

Being a classical University and having a mission of developing the humanities as well as natural sciences and mathematics, PSU opens new programmes in all the faculties every year.

Besides, PSU is proud of its long-lasting and mutually effective collaboration with the partner Universities in Europe (Oxford University, Sorbonne University and others).
